1. FC Union Berlin is one of Europe‘s cult clubs. The nickname of the club is
„Eiserne“ (The Iron Ones) personifying their determination to succeed. Currently
a 2nd division team fighting for a place in the German Bundesliga, 1. FC Union
Berlin thrives on its committed, close-knit fan community and its longstanding ties
with local organisations through a broad range of social projects. The hard working,
determined spirit of the club is reflected in its football philosophy which trickles
down to grassroots projects such as the soccer camps offered in strategic part-
ne-rship with EURASIA in Germany and abroad.
